A collective body of work, spanning literally millions of years, The Quadrasesery are the Goddesses of the four Elements, Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind, necessary for the existence of all life on earth.
Directly translated, “The Four Sisters”, The (modernized) Quadrasesery is a unique perspective on conservation, human history, and our systems of belief in general.
Aside from perpetuating general interest, the purpose of this website is to house knowledge and documentation of The Quadrasesery.
Most importantly, this project supports and promotes working artists from around the world.
Initiated in 2015, the artwork exhibited within the realm of Quadrasesery has been a mix of donated and privately commissioned illustrations from 29, both acclaimed and unknown artists, spanning fourteen countries and counting.
In both written and visual mediums, we explore the historically literal, literally inarguable, and plausible postulations about our very existence, and how it has been manipulated by our host Goddesses.

Before time itself, the First Cause subsisted against the great expanse, filling infinity with life and light; to the opposite of this, Kosmosos existed, with the sole purpose of keeping the breadth of apeiron shrouded in darkness.
Fearing that the formula for sustaining life would be forever enveloped, the First Cause drove holes into the fabric of the expanse as diversions, and fabricated an array of ornamental spheres, to entice and distract the ever-plundering Kosmosos.
Upon a single sphere, at the farthest reaches of exploration, the First Cause concealed the amalgam of creation in four separate, independent, yet opposing components; four sisters, that would later coalesce into a living engine, able to perpetuate the synthesis created by the First Cause.
The first constituent of the Quadrasesery was “Zeme, the Eldest”, the foundation and containment platform to her alternate counterparts.
Next, the twins “Vanduo the Afflatus”, and “Ugnis the Destroyer” were generated, one being the eternal purveyor of life and freedom, while the other remained bent on perpetual destruction and order.
Eons later, “Vejas the Serendipitous” manifested, to carry the will of her siblings and enhance the natural order beyond their current capabilities.
As the sisters grew tired of exhibiting their attributes to an empty vessel, the First Cause initiated the germination of flora and fauna for the elements to tend…
And thus concludes the introduction of the Quadrasesery; however, their unremitting parable is far from over, so please visit again to discover their continuing allegory, as inscribed here and in publications to come…

From the encyclopedia Britannica: "the deus otiosus, Latin for “hidden, or idle, god”—is one who has delegated all work on earth to what are called “nature spirits,” which are the forces or personifications of the forces of nature.
